COINBASE HACKED!! | Please Stop Using SMS 2FA!! | What To Do Instead

I just learned this morning that Coinbase was hacked, affecting about 6000 customers.

In this "Basics Of Bitcoin" guide I outline exactly how to not be victimized by this sort of thing by following a few, very easy security protocols or what I call "crypto hygiene".

Apparently, there is a vulnerability that allowed hackers to bypass Coinbase’s multi-factor authentication SMS option has affected at least 6,000 of the exchange’s customers, according to a notification letter sent to affected customers that the company has filed with the California state attorney general offices.

Here's how to safely avoid being hacked:

Use a Password Manager - Dashlane https://fxo.co/1135570/zerodebtcoach

Using these tips, set up a Coinbase account to purchase crypto and them pull them off asap into your Ledger Nano (listed above) - https://www.coinbase.com/join/bradlongmusic
